What a fulfilling follow-up to our earlier door-to-door outreach at Bukit Batok! After identifying households in need of water heaters and standing fans, we've delivered on our commitment to bring comfort to these homes.Thanks to our generous sponsors, professional installation crews worked throughout the day to set up 10 brand new water heaters across various units in the block. Walking through these homes, we discovered that many - particularly those housing senior citizens - had power points ready and waiting, but no functioning water heaters. Some residents had been living with broken heaters for years, making do with cold water even during our recent chilly mornings.

As the sun set on July 12th, 2025, our team of young volunteers took to the corridors, carefully delivering and setting up standing fans in each unit. With Singapore's recent sweltering heat, we can see the immediate relief on residents' faces as these much-needed fans began circulating cool air through their homes.

There's something beautiful about watching our volunteers carry these gifts of comfort up, knowing that somewhere an elderly resident will sleep more peacefully tonight.
